Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Students can sign on to clubs at UniMart

The CQU Student Association in Rockhampton will hold a Club Sign-on during the CQUSA UniMart on Wednesday March 14, from 11:30am to 1:30pm, on the lawns between the CQU Library and amphitheatre.

Students interested in starting a club are asked to register with the CQU Student Association (Bldg 36) to receive a free table and chairs to run a membership drive on the day. All you need is 10 members to affiliate your club with the CQUSA before March 31 to receive full funding and assistance.

Over 30 businesses and community groups will be on display during UniMart with fun and entertainment also provided for all students.
