Melbourne graduate ranks in top 5% for Charted Accountants exams

Recently graduated CQU Melbourne International Campus Masters student Harsh Vardan will be awarded a Certificate of Merit in Taxation for ranking in the top 5% in Australia in the recent Charted Accountants examinations.

PhotoID:3777 Harsh is currently employed in Melbourne as an audit accountant with one of Australia’s ‘Big 4’ accounting firms, Delloitte.

Originally from India, Harsh graduated from the Masters in Accounting program in 2006 after studying with CQU for 2 years.

While at CQU, Harsh was on the Student Association Committee and was nominated for a Campus Director's Award.

Harsh began his career in Australia by participating in CQU's Training, Employment & Career Coaching (TECC) Industry Exchange Program, working on a voluntary basis for 2 months at PKF Chartered Accountants. He continued working on a part-time basis until he graduated and went full-time with PKF.

He later moved across to work at Delloitte – a great career move which is sure to pay off.

Harsh is a very ambitious young man and we expect to hear a lot more about his career pursuits in the coming years.
