The School of Education planning days were held at CQUniversity Bundaberg recently. Thirty staff from all regional campuses gathered to discuss the School's vision for the future.
A welcome lunch was provided by Head of Campus Professor Phillip Clift and the event was opened by Executive Dean Professor Kevin Tickle.

Academic sessions involved special interest groups on Embedded Professional Learning issues, voice surveys and Moodle consistency; program planning and review discussions; and brainstorming sessions relating to research, retention, student feedback and entrepreneurial activity.
Dean of Education Associate Professor Helen Huntly took staff on a "virtual road trip discussing current operations, location checks along the way, and desirable future destinations for the School".
Staff also enjoyed team building activities at an outdoor education facility, 20 minutes south of Bundaberg.
"The manner in which all Education staff embraced both the new blueprint for the school, and each other, was exemplary," Associate Professor Huntly said.
"I cannot recall a time at CQUniversity when I've felt so overwhelmingly positive about the future and our place in it, and reinforce my sincere thanks to each staff member for their hard work, generosity, openness and wonderful company during the three days. Onwards and upwards!"
