Cathedral College kids swarm over Uni campus

Central Queensland University's Rockhampton Campus is playing host to 170 students this week as part of The Cathedral College Year 10s Careers Week.

Year 10 students from The Cathedral College are touring the Rockhampton campus on Tuesday and Friday mornings, visiting the different faculties and facilities.

Students will receive a welcome from Central Queensland University's new Director of Marketing, Mr Neil Butler. Mr Butler who has recently returned from working in Japan for 20 years, will talk to the students about his career path and about how his degree has helped him throughout his career, and helped him achieve his goals.

This visit is a great opportunity for potential CQU students to tour their future campus and learn more about their prospective careers.

Activities spread across the 3 faculties include tours of the fish ponds in the biology block, blood pressure checks and exploring business and public relations scenario role plays. Engineering presentations and tours will also take place during the visit.

The visits are taking place at CQU's Rockhampton campus on Tuesday July 17 and Friday July 20, from 10am until 1.30pm.
