These links will be specifically with the Language Centre and Faculty of Education and Creative Arts but could involve broader cooperation such as research links in the area of sustainable agriculture.
CQU is already involved with Jinju via provision of English language courses.
Jinju University President Dr Haejoo Jung (travelling with his wife) and Dean of the Planning & Research Office Professor Nam-Kyung Kim visited for talks with CQU leaders from the areas of sustainable regional development, plant sciences, language studies and international programs.
The visitors were formally welcomed by CQU Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Glenice Hancock.
