CQU graduates maintain advantage in salary comparisons

CQU graduates have continued a long-established trend for gaining annual salaries worth more than the national and state median rates.

The latest Graduate Careers Australia figures, for bachelor degree Australian citizens and permanent residents, show CQU graduates had an overall median annual salary of $45,000, compared with national and state overall medians of $44,000.

CQU graduates led the way in all but one of the fields of education available for comparison, with some of the biggest advantages in the fields of building, humanities, business studies, accounting, ‘other engineering', health (other) and life sciences.

In the field of Education Initial, CQU graduates were line-ball with the State median of $45,000 but slightly behind the national median of $46,000.
