Gladstone only stopover for international 'family life' authority

The Gladstone community will be treated to a unique opportunity when noted American authority on contemporary family life, Stephanie Coontz holds a seminar later this month.

The free seminar 'Coming to Terms with the Revolution in Family Life', will be Ms Coontz’s only Australian appearance.

Held in the Leo Zussino Building, Central Queensland University, the seminar will go from 5pm to 7pm on Saturday, January 20. Nibblies will be provided and drinks may be purchased at the bar.

Stephanie has addressed audiences around the world and appeared on prime time television in the USA.

Her latest book, 'Marriage, a History' was selected as one of the best books of 2005 by the Washington Post. Organisers of the seminar, Gladstone Communities for Children, hope that many interested stakeholders and community members will avail themselves of this opportunity.
