Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

CQU Rockhampton hosts Relay for Life 2007

CQU Rockhampton will once again host Relay for Life, on May 19-20 next year on behalf of the Queensland Cancer Fund.

PhotoID:3364 Relay For Life is an overnight team event to raise funds for cancer research, education and patient support programs.

Previous events at CQU have involved more than 100 teams. The most recent raised more than $200,000. Next year's event will be the fifth hosted at CQU Rockhampton.
