CQU Noosa Hub graduate Maxine Crawford (pictured left) has been welcomed as teacher of the Year 2/3 class at Pomona State School by the school’s Head of Campus, Dr Gwen Sands, while Principal, Peter Bradford, is farewelled on long service leave.
Maxine performed her final-year prac placement at Pomona State School, and so impressed her mentors that they were delighted to have her fill a vacant position.
Another new recruit at Pomona State School is Maxine’s five-year-old daughter, Harriet, who commences her education in Grade 1.
Strong support for Central Queensland University’s Bachelor of Learning Management degree, delivered in partnership with Education Queensland, has created greater opportunities for both year 12 graduates and adult entry students.
The degree delivers classroom-ready, fully-qualified teachers in just three concentrated years of experienced guidance, with a strong emphasis on practical in-class training.
