CQCM students host Orientation Week concert

Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music Bachelor of Music Theatre Club members will host their first fundraising concert on Friday evening.

PhotoID:1286 The Orientation Week concert allows new students to understand various components studied within the music theatre program.

BMT Club president Bobbi-Lea Dionysius said the variety concert included group performances from musicals and popular pieces of music.

“The concert is a wonderful way to introduce new students to university life and also allows the final-year students to fundraise for the showcase presentation we develop later in the year in a bid to secure employment,” she said.

Tickets for the 7pm concert can be purchased at the door for $5, with all proceeds going to the BMT Club. Bachelor of Music Performing Arts students will perform in the foyer following the concert. Complementary refreshments will be served.
