Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

International campuses hold graduation ceremonies 

Central Queensland University will hold graduation ceremonies for its international campuses in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Gold Coast next week.

The Sydney graduation is planned for Tuesday, December 13 at 1.30pm at the City Recital Hall, corner of George Street and Angel Place.

The Melbourne graduation will be held on Wednesday, December 14 at 2pm at the Regent Theatre’s Plaza Ballroom at 191 Collins Street.

The Brisbane and Gold Coast graduation ceremony will be held on Thursday December 15 at 2pm in the Presidential Ballroom at the Carlton Crest Hotel, King George Square, Brisbane.
