CQU Shares Beef Limelight
Published on 01 May, 2003
Central Queensland University has shared plenty of the Beef 2003 limelight.
Apart from our prominent trade display, coordinated by Tony Gubbins from Community Relations, our CQCM singing butchers have featured on national, state and local television broadcasts (including Today Show and ABC TV News).
The opening ceremony team, led by CQCM and Community Relations personnel, involved 10 staff, 107 students, 400 community members and 4000 audience members, with another 6000 people within earshot of the shows.
CQCM's performers have continued the effort with dozens of shows each day at various parts of the showgrounds.
