Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

CQCM on the road again

Visit Artspace Mackay next Friday April 7 and you will be treated to a free lunchtime concert by students of the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music (CQCM).

The performance titled 'On the Road Again' links well with the latest Artspace exhibition 'Bulldust to Bitumen ... and Beyond’ and will feature contemporary singers from the CQCM”s Bachelor of Music program performing a range of travel-related songs.

Commencing at 1.05pm, this FREE concert is a great way to wind down your work week.
