Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Judith Reynolds BIO 

Judith Reynolds, CA, BBus USQ, FTIA is a chartered accountant with over twenty years experience providing management, taxation and wealth creation advice to businesses from a diverse range of industries including manufacturing, retail and service businesses.

As a business coach and business development consultant, Judith works with business owners and manager to implement strategies which will improve performance across all areas of business, focusing on revenue growth, cash flow improvement, increased profitability, asset enhancement and protection and succession planning.

She is a Board Member of the Gladstone Economic and Industry Development Board and the Gladstone Ports Corporation Ltd and also an Advisory Board Member of RTA Community Fund. She is a past Chairman of National Sothertons Group Pty Ltd and a past member of the Rotary club. Judith has resided in the Gladstone region since 1976 and is passionate about the region.
