The Australian Universities Quality Agency (AUQA) audit of CQU commenced at the Fiji International Campus on September 19.

This was followed by members of the audit panel visiting the Sydney, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore sites, and most recently (on Tuesday this week) the Melbourne International Campus.

One component of the Melbourne visit was a meeting between AUQA and campus students from selected programs.

While visiting Melbourne International Campus, AUQA auditors Dr David Woodhouse and Martin Carroll met with groups of students from postgraduate programs (MIS, M Acct) and undergraduate programs (BIT, B.Bus B.Acct). All students were most enthusiastic about the opportunity to be part of the audit and were very fine representatives of the student body at Melbourne Campus.

Participation from staff and students has been excellent, and groups have reported feeling that interviews were very relaxed.

During this time, staff from the Quality Office have been responding to requests from the audit panel, and collating and submitting data, information and documentation from various areas of the University.

The audit interviews will conclude in Central Queensland, with a one day visit to the Mackay Campus on October 17, and four days at the Rockhampton Campus from October 18-21.
