Teachers take time to plan work in the UK

TimePlan Education Group, the UK’s leading educational recruitment specialist, visited CQU Mackay this week to talk to education students completing the Bachelor of Learning Management program.

TimePlan provides high quality teachers, teaching assistants and school support staff for schools and nurseries throughout the UK and regularly recruits overseas-qualified teachers to fill vacancies in the UK.

PhotoID:1705 The opportunity to live and work in the UK is very appealing to many people.

“Not only do they get to use their newly-acquired qualifications and skills and be paid for them, but the opportunity to travel through Europe and the UK is something that many people dream of,” said TimePlan head teacher consultant Patti Plested.

An overseas working holiday has become an institution in Australia, with thousands of university graduates making their way across the globe each year in the hope of combining travel and adventure with meaningful work.

Sub-dean of Education and Creative Arts, Ms Cecily Knight, is pleased that TimePlan chooses to visit the campus each year and offer students this fabulous opportunity to use their degree while enjoying the experience of living in a different country.

“Well travelled educators bring an international element to their teaching in the classroom, which can only enhance their students learning experiences," said Ms Knight.
