Australian Institute of Management’s Professional Manager of the Year Ricki Jeffery will be the key speaker at tomorrow’s (Friday’s) AIM Breakfast.
Ms Jeffery will present the topic “My Life, My Work, My Achievements” at the Breakfast which kicks off at 7am at the Centre Point Motor Inn.
“I was born on the “cusp” (1950s) of two ages – the Industrial Age (1710 – 1960) and the Information Age (1960 – 2020),” Ms Jeffery explains. “I will recount some of my life and work experiences that expose the impacts of this time in history, on my life.
Ms Jeffery recently was awarded with the region’s Professional Manager of the Year award for 2002 acknowledging her excellence in the management profession. The award was established by the AIM to recognise management as a profession. The next phase of the AIM Awards will see Ms Jeffery benchmark her skills at a State level award presentation next Friday in Brisbane, where the State Professional Manager for 2002 will be announced.
“I have been a part of this professional body (AIM) for the past 10 years. It provides up-to-date information, research, readings and inspiration for me in the management roles that I have had.” Ms Jeffery was both president and a committee member of the AIM Regional Branch in Rockhampton in the 1990s.
