Bundy embraces concept of 'twinning' students

CQUniversity has traditionally encouraged close bonds between advanced student mentors and their new first-year student buddies.

This year at Bundaberg Campus, the concept was able to be embraced as mentor Amanda Ryan welcomed her identical twin sister Tamara to the campus.

Amanda has been at the campus for several years and is now enrolled in a Graduate Diploma of Management, while Tamara has just started her studies toward a Bachelor of Learning Management (Early Childhood) degree.

Bundaberg Campus welcomed around 340 new students who are either studying on campus or doing Flex studies with Bundaberg as their base.

As well as easing into academic life, Orientation participants enjoyed trying out a series of  'Who Dares Wins' activities, sampled a range of clubs and societies on show during 'Unimart' and attended a bingo extravaganza.
