Employer showcase gives graduates the edge

More than 30 employers presented at CQU’s Showcase of Graduate Employers over 5 days last month in Rockhampton.

PhotoID:2841 The employers presented Powerpoint presentations providing students with a more in-depth understanding of their companies’ profiles, graduate development programs, and further employment opportunities.

The Showcase continues CQU’s long standing relationship with industry partners.

Students were able to have face-to-face interaction with potential employers while learning about graduate recruitment, work placement for co-op programs and vocational employment.

Co-op and Projects Industry Liaison Officer, Shelley Fawcett said the showcase gave students the chance to have informal conversations with industry representatives, enabling students to build up their employer contacts.
