Better ISL system to come

Central Queensland University’s Information Technology Department will implement a major upgrade to the University’s videoconferencing facilities within the next three months.
Manager of CQU’s Flexible Delivery Support unit Shaune Sinclair said when completed the upgrade will provide a better quality and more reliable ISL system.
Due to the upgrade, ISL availability will be restricted during the December to February period.
However Mr Sinclair said the Flexible Delivery Support team would continue to do their best to secure a suitable booking time for all clients.
“The majority of existing ISL bookings will experience minimal impact. Any changes that are necessary will generally be in the form of a change of venue,” Mr Sinclair said.
“If you do not hear from the FDS unit staff, you can assume that your booking remains intact in its original form.” In the case your booking does need to be changed the FDS staff will contact you well in advance of your booking to negotiate a new booking.
