Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Students head 'Into the Woods' for musical

Into the Woods, the popular musical production, started its run this morning (Thursday, August 6) at the Conservatorium Theatre on CQUniversity Mackay Campus...

Leading opera director John Wregg is at the helm of the Steven Sondheim/James Lapine musical, to be presented in Mackay by CQUniversity's Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music (August 6-8).

It is a return to Mackay for Wregg, who has previously directed the musicals Closer Than Ever and Cinderella for the CQ Conservatorium.
