Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Sunday Series guaranteed to entertain in Mackay

The Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music (CQCM) will host its first Sunday Series showcase for 2013 this Sunday, March 24 from 3pm.  

Supported by the Con Friends, the Sunday afternoon concert series will showcase the talents of CQCM students.

Enjoy entertaining music and theatre and support budding professional artists at CQUniversity's CQCM theatre at CQUniversity Mackay.

The afternoon includes pizza, wine or soft drink in the Con Friends courtyard and plenty of entertainment throughout the afternoon.

Tickets can be purchased at the door. Adults are $10 and students are $5.
