Plenty of snags but no hitches for Gold Coast event
Published on 30 January, 2008
The gorgeous shady trees of the Gold Coast Campus were a wonderful venue for Australia Day celebrations recently.
The day kicked off with star student presentations, which acknowledged the GCIC top performers from each class in term 2.
Staff, students and friends then feasted on a selection of Aussie BBQ favorites, with the good old ‘snag' or ‘banger' very popular.
All students were ‘happy little Vegemites' after a Vegemite tasting proved that the Australian icon is really an acquired taste.
Everyone had a great time and left with full stomachs and sporting Australian (temporary) tattoos!
