Prospective students choose CQU

Mature age students, high school students and parents visited Central Queensland University Mackay last Wednesday evening to find out about courses on offer for 2005.

There are many courses of study available through Central Queensland University and arriving at a final selection can be a daunting task.

According to Mackay Head of Campus, Phillip Clift: “The evening was well attended and the majority of people visiting the campus have already enrolled or intend to enrol for study at CQU.".

“Careers evenings like this are very popular as they give prospective students the opportunity to speak with lecturers and to tour the campus facilities, making the prospect of university study all the more appealing.".

The Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) takes enrolments for tertiary places in 2005. Applications close on 30 September 2004.
