Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Health clinic on Rocky Campus during Orientation Week 

CQUniversity's second and third year nursing students plan to host a health clinic during Orientation Week.

This 'gold coin' fundraiser gives staff and students the chance to be proactive about their health.

Proceeds will benefit students of the School of Nursing and Midwifery by supporting their end-of-year badging ceremony.

The health clinic will be operating from the Building 18 nursing lab from 10am-2pm on February 21-22 (Tuesday and Wednesday of Orientation Week).
