Input welcome for ethnic language courses

All interested people are welcome to attend an information and feedback session to discuss the proposed introduction of ethnic language courses for Rockhampton district residents. These courses would be designed to improve communication among family and community members and to keep cultural traditions alive.

Organisers of the courses are seeking comment to determine what languages can or should be taught and what the demand is for them.

The information and feedback session will be held from 5.30pm on Thursday, March 1, at CQU Rockhampton Building 29/G.05.

For more information please contact CQU organisers Rema Dhanasekar at 4930 9672; Helen Stewart at 4930 6577; or Lavenia James at 4930 9724.
