Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

CQU showcases graduate employers

More than 30 employers will present at Central Queensland University’s Showcase of Graduate Employers, over five days from March 20-24.

The Showcase of Graduate Employers will be held in the Senior Common Room at Capricornia College from 10am to 3pm with employers presenting to students for 30 minutes each.

Representatives from graduate employers will be available to meet with students and graduates to discuss graduate recruitment and workplace opportunities on completion of the Showcase (between 3pm to 5pm).
