CQU Bundaberg digitally enhanced
Published on 08 November, 2002
Digital technology has opened up doors for Central Queensland University students.
CQU Bundaberg\'s multimedia lecturer Seth Keen is overwhelmed with the results of the first multimedia exhibition which was held at CQU Bundaberg this week.
”This was a landmark exhibition for the Bundaberg campus and the local community,” Seth said.
”The selected work was reflective of the issues facing the students living and working here.” Twenty minutes of audio pieces and seven short videos were showcased with pieces ranging from traditional narrative pieces to highly experimental videos.
\"Digital technology has really made the medium more accessible,\" Seth added.
\"A couple of years ago it could only be done in professional studios. Here most of the student\'s work was done on desktops.\" Go to www.abc.net.au/widebay/stories/s719569 to connect to the BC and hear some of the CQU student productions.
