Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Mackay Campus to host Business and IT information evening

CQU Mackay Faculty of Business and Informatics are encouraging Mackay people to discover what is available in Business and IT at Central Queensland University’s Mackay Campus next week.

Next Tuesday, September 5 from 6.15pm - 8pm in the Cook Lecture Theatre, school students and non-school leavers are encouraged to come along and hear more about how to kick start their career with a CQU degree in Business or Informatics.

The information nights have been a great success in the past, producing genuine enquiries and enrolments at CQU Mackay.

Faculty staff of Business and Informatics will be on hand to answer questions and handle enquiries.
