Published on 11 May, 2007
The Queensland Centre for Domestic and Family Violence Research, based at CQU Mackay, recently (May 2-3) held its fourth annual Indigenous Family Violence Prevention Forum.
Titled Breaking the chains - Reclaiming our future, the purpose of the Forum is to celebrate the good work done by Indigenous communities.
The event provides an opportunity for participants to network, share information and learn from one another's experiences.
More than 120 people attended the Forum, which is the Centre's contribution to Queensland's Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month.
