Pizza fuels Study with Family and Friends event in Sydney

Pizza was the flavour of the month as Study with Family and Friends (SWFF) held a Pizza Party for all members at the undergraduate CQU Sydney International Campus.

Many CQU staff and students took part and enjoyed the midday break with refreshments including chips, drinks and of course a variety of pizza flavours to cater for the diversity of taste buds on campus.

Study with Family and Friends is a rewarding initiative designed to make studying at CQU an enjoyable experience.

This is achieved by a reward system where students earn points once a family or friend has enrolled. These points can then be exchanged for benefits such as text books, bookshop discount vouchers or International Phone cards.

Other gifts which can be acquired by accruing points include a laptop computer, digital camera, a personal organiser or even a return airfare back to the home country.

The initiative not only encourages family and friends to engage in learning but also creates a friendly and comfortable environment for all students to improve their social and language skills and their day to day activities.
