Putting dollar value on risk - Gladstone talk scheduled
Published on 09 September, 2010
CQUniversity Gladstone is the venue for a talk about practical uses for quantitative risk assessment, showing how risk can be expressed in financial terms.
The presentation, organised and hosted by Engineers Australia, will give an indication of some of the techniques currently being presented to industry by the University's PELM (Process Engineering and Light Metals) Centre.
PELM's Malcolm Leinster will present topical examples, prepared with Professor Gopinath Chattopadhyay, that are relevant to Gladstone industry and business.
The one-hour talk will be presented on Thursday September 16 from 5.30pm, followed by light refreshments. Details and RSVPs are via Gladstone@engineersaustralia.org.au .
