Representatives of state, Catholic and independent schools were invited to congratulate the students and welcome them to the teaching profession.   Bundaberg Region Mayor Mal Foreman also joined the function.

After the formalities, there was an afternoon tea culminating in the cutting of a celebratory cake.

This event was one of several being held at CQUniversity campuses, celebrating the journey of BLM students.
