Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Students produce culture concert 

CQU’s International Student Alliance is inviting you to its biggest event of the year.

PhotoID:1103 International ‘Nite’ will be staged at the CQU Sports Complex on Saturday, October 4, from 7pm with performers from a variety of countries displaying their culture in various forms of art, dance and song.

President of the CQU International Student Alliance Kumar Gourav said the International ‘Nite’ provided a great opportunity for the people of Rockhampton to see different traditions get together and perform.

Tickets are available from Lavenia James at the CQU International Office (building 11).
