CQU Mackay has been welcoming students for pre-Orientation study skills sessions and has been hosting exams and mentor training this week despite flood damage which disrupted power and communications.

Head of Campus Dr Trevor Davison says that ITD technicians are having some success in restoring phone and Email links damaged by the recent flooding.

He says that students are being hosted because there are some dry buildings.

Dr Davison said the campus is still looking forward to a fruitful Orientation Week next week.  Details are available at: http://studentservices.cqu.edu.au/orientation_guides2008.htm
