Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

PhotoID:609 Relay for Life is a team event to raise funds for cancer research. It’s 18 hours of fun with the challenge of completing a relay style walk or run.

This year’s Rockhampton Relay for Life will be held at CQU’s Athletics Track on Saturday 31 May and Sunday 1 June, 2003. The relay kicks off at 4pm on Saturday and continues for 18 hours until 10am on Sunday.
