Business and IT focus on fun rather than boardroom

When you've had a taste of the Multicultural Fair, you can try a change of pace with a variety of fun Open Day activities at Building 19, diagonally across from the food precinct.
The Faculty of Business & Informatics has focused on providing entertaining options for family groups rather than expecting too many wandering CEOs.
You can try your skills on an advanced Boeing 737 flight simulator, take part in a mobile phone survey or get close and personal with some mini robots programmed by computing staff.
Visitors have the chance to get novelty diplomas printed out, and there's helium balloons for the kids.
Faculty research projects will be displayed and there will be 'lunchbox' sessions for those interested in procurement, accounting or information security.
Anyone interested in new careers or a career change can also get advice about pathways from business and informatics courses, including options for industry placements.
The Faculty will also be running some Mighty Math and Astro Algebra competitions for kids in grades 5 -9, with a chance to win the games at the end of the day.
There are also 2 Ipod nanos to be won. One is for an Internet web search competition, and the other is for those attending Lunchbox sessions.
