French classes resume at Language Centre

The Alliance Frangaise of Central Queensland will be offering French lessons in July at the CQU Language Centre (buildings 12 and 13) in Rockhampton.

Weekly lessons will be held every Wednesday for the duration of the school term (11 weeks) from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. The enrolment night is on Wednesday July 12.

Three levels are catered for: beginners, intermediate and advanced.

Students enrolling in French classes also have access to the extra-curricular activities organised by the Alliance, such as monthly French film evenings, a conversation group, lectures on French culture and history and social events such as the annual Bastille Day Dinner, which is coming up soon.

Anyone thinking of travelling to France is encouraged to join up. Having that little bit of French can make a world of difference.
