Home-grown talent vital for CQ region to prosper
Published on 07 August, 2007
The Central Queensland region will only be able to prosper if it can nurture home-grown professionals, rather than relying on competing in the world talent pool.
That is according to Ian Devenish, CQU's Co-op Program & Industry Director, who says qualified engineers are particularly crucial to growing the region.
Students interested in an engineering career can attend an InfoNight at CQU's campuses in Rockhampton, Mackay, Gladstone and Bundaberg, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm on Tuesday August 21.
