Opal Awards nominations open for 2011

CQUniversity's Excellence in Engagement Awards nominations, also referred to as the Opal Awards, have opened again for 2011. The nomination period will be open from August 15 to September 30, 2011.

The Excellence in Engagement Awards were introduced in 2010 and aim to recognise and encourage outstanding engagement by CQUniversity staff, students and communities.

The awards celebrate excellence in engagement by recognising those who build relationships which lead to partnerships which lead to mutually beneficial outcomes for both CQUniversity and its partner. These partnerships support the development of sustainable communities and an equally sustainable CQUniversity.

There are three categories for these awards which are:

 Engaged Learning and Teaching;

Engaged Research and Innovation; and

Engaged Service.

For further information regarding the Excellence in Engagement Awards, please refer to the Engagement Awards page on the Community and Engagement Hub website.
