CQUniversity fights skill shortage
Published on 11 August, 2008
In an effort to combat the local skill shortage crisis, CQUniversity Australia is inviting employers to establish a scholarship that will enable students to develop a pathway into the local workforce.
Suzi Blair, Director Office of Development and Graduate Relations, sees this as an excellent opportunity for businesses to partner with the University to prepare students for the workforce.
"A scholarship can deliver the Donor benefits with a value that simply can not be measured only in financial terms. They have access to the best and brightest students in their field of interest and also play a vital role in the shaping and development of that student's future," said Suzi Blair.
"We work closely with our Donors to ensure that the Scholarship mirrors the organisations goals and objectives, so I would encourage any business interested in supporting our local talent and making a valuable contribution to their organisation and our community to contact us."
