Noosa Hub set to expand

Which Queensland university has the largest number of international students (and the largest proportion of international students in Australia?) .. Central Queensland University!.

Just 12 years since gaining University status, CQU now delivers programs in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane as well as regionally in Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Gladstone, Gold Coast, Mackay, Emerald and of course Noosa.

CQU operates overseas too in China, Hong Kong, Fiji and Singapore.

CQU Vice-Chancellor Professor John Rickard surprised around 100 Noosa business identities with these facts at the launch of an innovative degree that will be available only at Noosa and Rockhampton next year.

Professor Rickard launched the Bachelor of Creative Enterprise. A three-year study, the degree covers a broad spectrum of employment opportunities in media, entertainment, and other creative-based industries.

Business people present welcomed involvement with the plan and signed on to support the degree.

Noosa Councillor Lew Brennan, one of the most dedicated supporters of the establishment of CQU Noosa, is keen to engage Council with the program.
