Mr Bishop and Ms Chopping thought it would be a great idea to meet with the students at Aviation High to promote the opportunities to study with CQUniversity in the Bachelor of Aviation Technology.

Students were dressed up to experience what it looks like to be a part of the aviation industry whether it is civilian or military aviation.

Mr Bishop and Ms Chopping gave a 30 minute presentation on the Bachelor of Aviation Technology and an overall presentation on CQUniversity and its programs.

They also had a meeting with Phil Cooper the principal of Aviation High to discuss the SUN program and other ways the University and Aviation High could join forces to offer higher education opportunities to the high school students.

"There was a lot of interest from the Aviation High School students and the principal asked we return in 8 weeks to meet with the Year 10 and 11 students to discuss their education options with CQUniversity," Mr Bishop said.
