Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Harrower appointed to head Plant Pathology journal

Central Queensland University academic Dr Keith Harrower has been appointed as Editor-in-Chief of Australasian Plant Pathology (APP), the journal of the Australasian Plant Pathology Society.

APP has developed as an international journal with high standards, disseminating plant pathology knowledge relating particularly to Australasia and, increasingly, to the Southern Hemisphere.

Dr Harrower is based at CQU Rockhampton in the School of Biological and Environmental Sciences.
