Slippery customer for Marketing

Grant Farrell and Keri Wilson from Facilities Management have put their recent training in snake handling into real-life practice.

A harmless but feisty black tree snake ventured into the foyer of Building 37 on Rockhampton Campus - just a few steps away from both staff members.

The Facilities staffers were alerted by the commotion coming from Marketing staff, who first spotted the unwanted visitor.

The snake was quickly removed from the building and returned to bushland.

Anyone who spots a snake around campus buildings should alert Security or Facilities Management to deal with the situation.
