CQUniversity Australia's ratings for overall Graduate Outcomes (which covers Getting a Job, Positive Graduate Outcomes and Staring Salaries) outperforms every other public university in the state with a combined 12 stars, according to Hobsons, the publishers of Australia's authoritative ratings, The Good Universities Guide 2009.
In addition, no other public university in Queensland ranks better for salaries (5 stars), positive graduate outcomes (4 stars), access/equity (5 stars), or diversity (5 stars).

Gladstone community members recently gathered at CQUniversity for a cocktail function (August 1) to celebrate 3 decades of higher education, the present campus resource and its future potential.
The event included awards for David Manttan and Tony Goodwin, in appreciation of their dedication, support and contribution to the Gladstone Advisory Committee over an extended period of time.

CQUniversity midwifery senior lecturer Dawn Hay has congratulated the Queensland Government for its $9 million initiative (announced Sunday, August 3) to improve regional and rural maternity services.
"It's a great day for mums and dads and regional, rural and remote communities - taking birth back to the bush," Ms Hay said.
