- Diverse nationalities at Melbourne graduation

More than 250 graduates proudly crossed the stage to receive their degrees from the Chancellor at the John Batman Theatre, Melbourne Convention Centre on Wednesday December 12.
This semester's diverse graduates represented 20 countries including Chile, Russia, Tanzania and Zambia as well as Nigeria and Cambodia.

CQU Mackay graduate and Environmental Scientist Alana Eggleton has been recognised with the Australian Industry Defence Network - Northern Territory, Young Achiever Award and will now go to Canberra in February next year to compete with other state and territory winners for the Australian title.
Alana completed her Bachelor of Environmental Science degree at CQU in 2001 and is currently studying a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Management through CQU, which she'll complete next year.

Tourism specialist Meredith Lawrence* addressed almost 500 graduates during 2 ceremonies for CQU Sydney on Monday, December 10 at the Star City Grand Harbour Ballroom.
A total of 339 postgraduate students from 22 nations celebrated their graduation during the morning ceremony.

CQU's Evaluation Services, Analysis and Planning Unit, is pleased to announce that Billie Jean Anderson, Thi Hong Ngoc Lai and Briony Black are the lucky prize winners in the Central Queensland University Australian Graduation Survey competition.
Graduates who completed their program of study in 2006 and filled in a survey were included in the draw.
