- Mackay's Conservatorium concert series kicks off

Every year the CQUniversity - Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music (CQCM) concert series is kick-started with a magnificent performance by Judith Brown playing the renowned Stuart and Sons grand piano, and 2010 will be no different.
This Wednesday (March 10) from 6pm Judith will be sharing her love of music with fellow musicians and fans and is looking forward to presenting her free concert performance - Rhythm in Music.

Nominated by CQUniversity's Office of Development and Graduate Relations, Norma accepted her award during the Zonta Club of Rockhampton's International Women's Day Breakfast (March 8).

The Central Highlands branch of the Queensland Country Women's Association are a dedicated bunch, clocking up 40 years of support for our regional students with an academic bursary.
Our Emerald Campus recently hosted a morning tea to celebrate and mark the 40th anniversary of the QCWA Central Highlands Bursary, which provides $500 to a CQUniversity student from the local area who best demonstrates their aspirations, financial need and diligence.

CQUniversity alumnus Tracey Sweeney once charmed the judges of the Miss World pageant with her beauty and vibrant personality and now has been awarded as a star performer in her career with Queensland Health.
Ms Sweeney won the major award at Queensland Health's inaugural Awards for Excellence 2010 for the Central Queensland Health Service District.

The International Program of Psycho-Social Health Research (IPP-SHR), a research body of CQUniversity, has reached a major milestone in its podcast series with its 100th podcast released today.
Showcasing a diversity of experts in psycho-social health issues, the popular podcast series was launched in October 2007 and now has over 4000 weekly subscribers.
