Like many males entering the workforce in the 1980s, Matthew Daley applied to become an Airforce pilot after seeing Top Gun at the movies.
Although he didn't make the cut at the time, he is now finding a different route into the Airforce .

CQUniversity Bachelor of Learning Management student Dale Mitchell says that nothing can describe the "buzz" you get from speaking in Parliament.
And he should know! Dale was the 'Youth Member for Keppel' at the recent Youth Parliament in Brisbane (June 30-July 5), representing his home town of Emu Park and the wider electorate.

More than 40 people attended the annual CQUniversity Academic Awards ceremony held at the Emerald Meteor Motel recently (July 25).
The Academic Awards acknowledge the outstanding achievements of CQUniversity students, as well as thanking the local business award sponsors.
