- Science 'rocks' at Mackay Campus

Over 200 students have celebrated National Science Week at CQUniversity Mackay (last Wednesday) by taking part in activities proving science is not for the faint-hearted.
They were drawn from as far away as Middlemount and Proserpine.

CQUniversity's Office of Development and Graduate Relations enlisted the aid of the University's Advanced Public Relations students to organise a networking event to reconnect communication graduates and celebrate their achievements.
The Advanced PR students‘ project forms part of their assessment which focuses on the University being connected with past communication students.

CQUniversity is undertaking a project in September to find out more about its staff and their experience at the University amidst a constantly changing work environment.
The independent organisational development project, titled Work Wellness, is being led by Head of Campus, Gladstone, Dr Pierre Viljoen and Dr Marilyn Fisher, from the Division of Human Resources, in conjunction with organisational behaviour experts in the Netherlands.

As part of a unique initiative by the National Talent Identification and Development (NTID) program, CQUniversity is working with the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) to support establishment of a network of testing centres.
This effort is to help fast-track talented athletes from around Australia into selected Olympic Games and World Championship sports.
